Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your PennyPresses account and associated data from outside the mobile app.

1. Delete from inside the app

If available, use Profile or Account Settings in the PennyPresses app or website to request account deletion.

2. Delete by email

Email privacy@pennypresses.net from the email address connected to your PennyPresses account. Include your username and write: "Please delete my PennyPresses account."

3. Verification

We may verify account ownership before deleting data. This is to prevent someone else from deleting your account without permission.

4. What is deleted

We delete or anonymize account information, profile details, collection data tied to your account, uploaded user content where practical, Penny Pals enrollment data, trade/listing data tied to your account, and authentication tokens.

5. What may be retained

Some records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety review, tax/accounting, backup integrity, legal compliance, or to preserve public machine/location data without identifying you. Retention details are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
