Penny Pals Terms

Penny Pals is a voluntary user-to-user mail exchange for pressed penny collectors. These terms explain address sharing, monthly matching, proof of mailing, and safety rules.

1. Eligibility and consent

You must have an active PennyPresses account and meet the minimum age requirement in our Terms.
If you are under the age of majority, use Penny Pals only with parent or guardian involvement.
By joining, you consent to sharing your name, mailing address, and optional notes with your assigned monthly match only for the exchange.

2. Monthly matching

When matching is enabled, PennyPresses pairs approved participants so each member sends one pressed penny and receives one pressed penny. Matching frequency, eligibility, and availability can change.

3. Mailing commitment

Send one pressed penny or agreed collector item in a reasonable timeframe.
Do not send money, hazardous materials, weapons, drugs, food, offensive content, or regulated items.
Upload proof of mailing if the app requests it.
Use the recipient address only for that Penny Pals exchange.

4. Address privacy

Addresses are sensitive. Do not publish, reuse, sell, scrape, or share another member's address. Misuse of address information can result in removal from Penny Pals, account suspension, and reports to appropriate authorities where needed.

5. Non-delivery and disputes

PennyPresses does not operate postal services and cannot guarantee delivery. We may review reports, proof, and repeated non-delivery patterns, then warn, suspend, or remove participants.

6. Leaving Penny Pals

You may leave Penny Pals from the app or by contacting support. Leaving does not cancel a match already made unless support confirms it before address sharing or mailing.
